1.      Find the definitions  of subject, verb, object and modifier.
Make 5 sentences and determine that 4 elements.
2.      Find the theory of subject – verb agreements

Answer :

1.      - Subject :
Subject is a word or phrase that functions as a principal, subject, or cause of action. Position the subject in general at the beginning of sentences, but there is also a subject that is not at the beginning of the sentence.
There are two types of subject in English, which is a simple subject and the subject of a combined.

a.       Simple Subject
Simple subject is a subject that consists of a single subject. It could be a noun (noun), pronouns (pronoun), gerund, infinitive, and clauses.
Five examples of sentences simple subject can be seen below :
-          Noun as the subject
example : Semarang is the capital of Central Java.
                 I write an poetry.
                 Maria teaches American English.

-          Pronouns as subjects
Example : She studies English with her children.
                 He needs some pens for his students.
                 We love this game.
                 It is a luxury car.
                 What happened last night?

-          Gerund as subject
Example : Going to campus is Nanda’s daily activity.
                 Writing in a coffee shop is one of my tactics to increase my productivity. 
                 Making coffee is easy.
                 Smoking in the room is prohibited.
-          Infinitive as subject
     To make more money is my goal this month.
     To change our bad habits is an interesting challenge.
     To fly requires skill.

-          Clauses as subjects
Example : What she said was valuable. 
                 When he will arrive is not certain.

b.      Subjects combined
Combined subject is a subject that has more than one subject. Example sentences containing the subject of this type are as follows:
            Example :  My wife and I cannot attend the workshop.
                              A clean driving license, sales experience and team spirit are essential.


2.      -  Theory of subject
The subject is contained in the sentence perpetrators active sentence, could be a person (persons) or object (thing). Subjects are at the beginning of the sentence and is located before the verb (verb).

Example : We girls are not going to that movie.
    George likes boats.
     Mary, John, George, and I went to a restaurant last night.
     The weather was very bad yesterday.
               The chemistry professor canceled class today.

-          Theory of Verb
Verbs (verb) is a word (word) and is one element of part of speech, which shows the action (bring, kick, read) or events (Happen, Become) or state (<to> be, exist), and attitude (agree, disagree, blame).

a.       Transitive verb
Is a verb that requires an object sentence. If the verbal sentence using the transitive verb, the object must be a sentence to be able to say a sentence that is perfect (can provide insight).

Example : She opened the window every morning.
   I always drink a glass of water before going to sleep.
     Cristiano Ronaldo kicked the ball in to the goal.

b.      Intransitive verb
Is a verb that does not require the object of the sentence.

  Example :  My son is sleeping soundly.
      The bus can run over 100 mil per hour.

         Radit screamed since a ghost appeared in front of him.
